Nestled amidst the Himalayan wonders, Lachung stands as the sibling town to Lachen.Lachung is a town and hill station in northeast Sikkim, India. It is located in the North Sikkim district near the border with Tibet.[1] Lachung is at an elevation of about 9,600 feet (2,900 m) and at the confluence of the Lachen and Lachung Rivers, both tributaries of the River Teesta. The word Lachung means "small pass". The town is approximately 125 kilometres (78 mi) from the capital Gangtok. The place leading to attractions such as Yumthang Valley and the Lachung Monastery, Zero Point, Katao. Like other regions in North Sikkim, visiting Lachung necessitates obtaining permits due to its proximity to the China border. Travelers can acquire these permits through a travel agency based in Gangtok or from District Administration Mangan.

Event Categories: 42, 21KM, 10KM, 5KM Participants in all categories will receive a premium Dry Fit T-shirt, a medal, a goody bag, a race bib, on-route hydration support, and post-race refreshments. Additionally, all participants will be awarded E-certificates.

Top three finishers in each category will be presented with trophies.

Note:   There are few exotic points to explore- Mangan, Yumthang Valley ( Valley of Flowers as called), Zero Point but all need prior entry permit from respective authority either from Gangtok or DC Office Mangan. So, we request all who are interested kindly register at earliest. We will also schedule a cost effective (paid) Travel from NJP/Mangan to & fro of Lachung and stay at Mangan, Lachung.
