Valle dei Segni Wine Trail is a running race in nature between villages, vineyards and i terraces of the Camonica Valley, a territory that reserves countless beauties, e at the same time collateral activities will be carried out. It is a sporting event whose objective, in addition to promoting sporting practice, is the enhancement of the territory in order to raise awareness of the historical-cultural, naturalistic and environmental and traditions typical of the places.
Course details
From Capo di Ponte , a world-renowned rock art center, to Darfo Boario, a renowned spa town in the Camuno Valley. A fascinating journey to discover mysterious rock carvings , ancient Roman remains , medieval monuments , and small villages where time seems to have stood still. Terraced fields, vineyards, and cellars , narrated through an authentic Trail , following the traces of the ancient Via Valeriana and the Cammino di Charlemagne, historic paths guarding indelible signs.
18km - 950m elevation gain
Along the ancient Via Valeriana and Via Volte. From Piamborno, a charming town in the middle of the Camonica Valley, to Darfo Boario Terme , the Camunian citadel. A village rich in history and charm welcomes us, guiding us through the historic and evocative Bignotti cellars and the Penzig park , the cradle of the first bottled Camuno wine , “Il Lanzato”, in the 19th century. Vineyards suspended between sky and earth accompany us through rugged paths and suggestive inlets shaped over the centuries by the water towards the blue and fascinating mirror of Lake Moro .
10km - 300m elevation gain
A dedicated route to showcase one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Camonica Valley. Designed in its non-competitive form to offer walkers and families a unique experience along paths and roads that run alongside the charming and evocative Lago Moro, a panoramic route with passages through vineyards and olive groves mirrored by the lake. Its competitive version , on the other hand, is designed for short-distance athletes and trail running beginners who want to experience a day of sport, food and wine, and fun in good company. Bib and race pack collection will take place at the “Valle dei Segni Village” in the Aquaplanet Sports Area in Darfo Boario Terme: – Friday 23 October 2026 (from 3pm to 10pm) – Saturday 24 October 2026 (from 5am to 8pm) – Sunday 25 October 2026 (from 8am to 10am)
