Course details
From here, the course follows a mix of gravel and sealed roads, weaving through some of Salemi’s finest vineyards, restaurants, and local producers. The route then drops down to the valley floor, where you’ll pass the Scavi di Mokarta, the remains of a prehistoric village. A long, gradual climb brings you back toward Salemi, passing through yet more vineyards along the way, rest assured, you won’t go thirsty.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Bib collection will occur on Friday 2nd October between 11am-7pm. Details will be released in the runners guide (expected release in June 2026).
How do I get to the race location?
Salemi is best accessed by car. Trapani and Palermo both have international airports and are situated about 1 hour from Salemi. Parking details will be provided in the runners guide.
Where is Salemi? How do I get there, and where should I stay?
Salemi is a picturesque mountain town in western Sicily, located about one hour southwest of Palermo, in the heart of the Belìce Valley. Getting there: Airports: Palermo (PMO) and Trapani (TPS) Transport: Salemi can be reached by car, regional bus services, or pre-arranged transfers from either airport. Accommodation: Salemi offers a range of charming B&Bs, boutique stays, and agriturismi. Additional options are available in the nearby towns of Gibellina, Castelvetrano, and Marsala.
