Join Sines Triathlon 2025
HMS Sports and the Municipality of Sines extends an invitation to the Sines Triathlon, a PTO distance event designed to challenge triathletes with 2 km of swimming, 80 km of cycling, and an 18 km run. The race kicks off in the waters of the Bay of Sines, treating participants to 100 km of exhilarating competition that begins at the Bay of Sines Beach and concludes at the Vasco da Gama Promenade.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Sines, this athletic event also offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy leisure activities and explore the natural beauty of the region.
Course details
Single turn course with an Australian exit, held at Praia da Baía de Sines.
The transition park is installed in the Vasco da Gama Promenade.
The swimming course may change and is subject to weather and sea conditions at the time of the race. If it is not possible, it will be replaced by a race course.
Cycling
The cycling course starts at Passeio Vasco da Gama and covers a total of 80 km. In short, the course involves three laps of approximately 27 km.
The cycling course may change. The athlete must start the last section of the cycling segment until 11:20 am (the cut off will be installed at the end of Av. Vasco da Gama, towards Porto Covo, approximately at km 52); after the time limit, athletes will be prevented from circulating in the return zone of the course given the need to open car circulation.
Running
The running course starts and finishes at Vasco da Gama Promenade, consists of three 6 km laps and totals 18 km. The course is totally flat, combining asphalt, sidewalk and cycle path.

The time limit to start the race segment is at 12:20 pm.
The time limit to complete the race is at 12:50 pm.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
The triathlete can cancel the registration according to the following conditions and deadlines: Until March 31, 2025: full refund of the registration fee, except administrative fees of 10€ From April 1st to June 1st, 2025: half of the registration fee (50%) will be refunded From June 2nd to August 6th, 2025: 25% refund of the registration fee From August 7, 2025: non-refundable
