The Semi Marathon Dour des Hauts Pays challenges runners with a scenic, cross-border course known for its rugged terrain, demanding climbs, and thrilling descents. Winding through the lush countryside of both France and Belgium, the route immerses participants in the folklore and natural charm of the region, highlighted by landmarks like the iconic “caillou qui bique” (goat-rock), a local legend woven into the fabric of the race. Held during the golden hours of the evening, the event offers a spectacular sunset backdrop and a great atmosphere, amplified by local spectators and event festivities.
