Join Semi-Marathon de Mons 2024
Since 2018, the "ASBL semi-marathon de Mons" offers various routes over distances of 5.10 and 21.0975 km. Departing from the Grand-Place de Mons, this popular event allows you to discover the city center of Mons but also the surrounding countryside. Circuits of 500 m and 1 km are intended for children under 12 and a 10 km walk is also on the program. Each year, this sporting but also festive event attracts thousands of participants supervised by hundreds of volunteers. It should be noted that all profits are donated to the benefit of Télévie. Since 2018, an amount of 81,000 EUR has already been distributed to the FNRS.

How do I get to the race location?
Mons train station is 1km from the starting point of various races (Grand-Place).
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
No cancellation or refund possible
What is the cut-off time?
Runners have a maximum of 3 hours to complete the course, determined from the start of the race. If they decide to continue, they will do so under their own responsibility and on a route which could be reopened to traffic. Supplies will no longer be guaranteed to them.
What is prohibited on the course? (bicycle, motorcycle, animals, etc.)
Bicycles, wheeled and/or motorized vehicles are strictly prohibited on the route. The participant who would be followed by the aforementioned modes of travel will be excluded from the race. Only machines made available by the organization will be authorized. In addition, it is forbidden to run with your pet under penalty of disqualification from the race.
What are the arrangements for walking?
Walkers follow the same route as the 10km race. For safety reasons, walkers are asked to walk on the right or on sidewalks whenever possible. Walkers will be able to be overtaken by 10 km and half-marathon runners who are starting their race. We ask walkers not to block runners by walking several abreast, especially in narrow passages.
