Long Course Weekend Belgium is a unique festival of sport that offers an unbeatable atmosphere. Over three days athletes can choose events from three disciplines (swim, bike, run) and multiple distances to create a tailor made weekend course for their ability.
For those looking to push their limits there's the Long Course option - the longest distance in each event. Each Long Course Athlete who finishes will receive the coveted fourth medal for their medal stack.
- Friday: The Nieuwpoort swim (1.9K & 3.8K)
- Saturday: Cycle Flanders Fields (45K, 90K & 180K)
- Sunday: The Nieuwpoort Marathon (5K, 10K, Half Marathon & Marathon)

This will depend on the temperature of the water on the day. If possible, you can swim without a wetsuit.
What type of bike can I use?
Road bikes are recommended, but we will not refuse mountain bikes or time trial bikes if that is your preference or all you have available. E-bikes are not allowed.
What are the cut-off times?
Swimming: 3800m: 2 hours 15 minutes 1900m: 1 hour 40 minutes Cycling: 180km: 8 hours, 90km: 8 hours, 45k: 3 hours Running: Marathon: 5 hours 30 minutes Half Marathon: 3 hours 30 minutes 10km: 90 minutes, 5km: 60 minutes
