The 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong Streetathon in 2025, marks a historic milestone with a once-in-a-lifetime course feature: runners will be the first and only people to run the entire length of the brand-new Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei Section), before it opens to traffic. This 4.7 km urban artery links East and West Kowloon and symbolizes the union of Hong Kong’s infrastructure and athletic spirit. Full and half marathon runners start in bustling Causeway Bay, traverse Kai Tak and Kowloon Bay, and finish at Yau Ma Tei Interchange, weaving through iconic districts and urban skylines. Beyond the race, the Streetathon thrives on its vibrant party atmosphere, with live entertainment, local snacks at aid stations, and colorful collaborations with artists such as Szabotage and students of the Hong Kong Design Institute. With its unique “East meets West” theme, this year’s Streetathon celebrates both endurance and community in the heart of the city.

Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Distance cannot be changed. In exceptional cases, please send an email to the organizer with a special request.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Should the Event be cancelled due to weather or any circumstances beyond the control of the Organiser within 14 days before the scheduled date of the Event, no refund of entry fees paid will be return to applicant. Should the Event be cancelled due to weather or any circumstances beyond the control of the Organiser 14 days before the scheduled date of the Event, a sum no more than 50% of the entry fee paid will be refund to the applicant. All donation made to the Organiser are not returnable should the Event be cancelled due to weather or any circumstances beyond the control of the Organiser The Organiser shall have no other responsibilities and/or liabilities in relation to cancellation of the Event.
Am I covered with Insurance?
Public liability insurance is covered by the Organizer. This does not include personal accident insurance. It is recommended that all participants purchase their own personal accident insurance and other relevant insurance according to their needs.
