AARHUS TAKES ITS PLACE ON THE WORLD MAP!
A new tradition of running has been forged in Aarhus. Aarhus Motion, in partnership with BESTSELLER, welcomes you to 21.097 km of enjoyment and experiences. The route takes its runners through a completely closed-off central Aarhus, on a day when vehicles will be directed to the garage.
SIGHTSEEING AS YOU RUN
Along the way, you will pass by all of Aarhus’ famous attractions, including The Old Town (Den Gamle By), the art museum (Aros Aarhus kunstmuseum) and the themepark, Tivoli Friheden. You will see the very best of Aarhus.
HOTSPOTS AND ENTERTAINMENT
You will certainly not run short of things to amuse yourself with along the route. We have established more than 40 entertainment locations and hotspots to stimulate all the senses. You’ll meet everyone from samba dancers to DJ’s and rock bands. A unique feature is the Tour Caravan, which is known for the large cycle races. This drives in front of the runners to get the 50.000+ spectators into the right mood, so they’re ready to help and cheer you along your way.

We have room for everyone – beginners, joggers, experienced joggers and elite runners! For 26% of the participants in the 2017, BESTSELLER Aarhus City Halfmarathon was their first half marathon ever. Why not take up the challenge? We promise you that you are not going to regret it!

Lagerung der Ausrüstung
Free storage of bags, valuables etc. is available. For storage in the wardrobe, the supplied wardrobe bag is used. When you hand in your bag in the wardrobe, you will receive a sticker with a number placed on your starting number. Only 1 piece of luggage per participant may be submitted. Storage is at your own risk. There are two wardrobes in the square; Ridehuset and Musikhuset. You shall use the wardrobe that is associated with your startup group, as indicated by your starting number.
Maximale Zeit
The timelimit for completing BESTSELLER Aarhus City Halfmarathon is 3 hours netto. The 3 hour limit is visible by officials on bike. If the participant exceed the 3 hour limit, it is their own responsibility to comply with the general traffic regulations.
Angebotener Fotoservice
Our photographers will shoot photos both before, during and after the race. The photos will be available on Aarhus Motion’s Facebook page and website afterwards. You can also take a photo at one of the photo walls at the sport EXPO. In front of the Musikhuset Aarhus you’ll find “Wall of Fighters” with the names of all participants.

Timing
The participants will receive a timing chip incorporated in the bib-number. Your bib-number must be attached on the front of your shirt and must be visible at all times. Please do not remove the timing chip from the bib-number or bend it in any way. Split times are registered at 5 km. 10 km. 15 km. 20. km. and 21,097 km.
