The 1st edition of the Royal Copenhagen City Half introduces a new high-speed race experience in the Danish capital, starting in Nordhavn and finishing at the Royal Arena in Ørestad. Designed as one of Europe’s flattest and fastest urban routes, it links waterfront districts, wide boulevards, and striking modern architecture. The course sits only minutes from metro access, creating smooth logistics for runners and supporters. Expect lively city energy, strong crowd support, and different race options tailored to all levels. This new event aims to set a fresh standard for international racing in Copenhagen.
Course details
Copenhagen International School (CIS), Nordhavn – the distinctive blue waterfront landmark.
Nordhavn – Copenhagen’s most exclusive district with harbor baths, modern architecture, and views of the Øresund Strait.
Langelinie and the Cruise Terminal – the long harbor promenade overlooking massive ships and the open port waters.
The Little Mermaid – the city’s iconic symbol perched on her granite rock by the harbor entrance.
Gefion Fountain and Kastellet – monumental sculpture and historic ramparts in the city’s green heart.
Amalienborg Palace – the royal family’s residence, aligned with Amaliehaven Park and facing the Opera House.
The Royal Danish Playhouse – a striking modern cultural landmark with panoramic harbor views.
Nyhavn – colorful facades, historic wooden ships, and Copenhagen’s most photographed canal.
Inderhavnsbroen (“The Kissing Bridge”) – award-winning bridge with its circular towers and sweeping harbor views.
Kalvebod Brygge – an open harborfront lined with modern architecture and the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel as its skyline icon.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Race bibs and timing chips are handed out on race day at the start area.
How do I get to the race location?
2 minutes from Orientkaj Metro to the start line. 10 minutes from the finish area to the metro and Copenhagen Airport.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the organizer cancels the event. Race bibs are personal and may not be resold, lent, or transferred.
