Join Tengchong Marathon
The Tengchong Marathon has been held annually since 2015 and is recognized as a Chinese Athletics Association A1-level event. The race attracts around 13,000 runners each year, making it one of the leading marathons in Yunnan Province.
Tengchong, often celebrated as “China’s Emerald Capital,” provides a unique cultural backdrop for the event. Reflecting the city’s heritage, the marathon features distinctive jade-inspired finisher medals, symbolizing both endurance and elegance.
With its high-level organization, scenic course, and strong local character, the Tengchong Marathon has quickly established itself as a must-run race on China’s distance running calendar.
