Join Suzhou Marathon
The 2023 Suzhou Marathon was successfully held in Suzhou on March 26, 2023, with a participation of 25,000 runners. The event received widespread acclaim from all sectors of society.
The 2024 Suzhou Marathon, certified by the Chinese Athletics Association, is scheduled to take place on April 14. It is hosted by the Suzhou Municipal People's Government and organized by the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Sports. The event will have a total of 25,000 participants, including 10,000 for the full marathon, 13,000 for the half marathon, and 2,000 for the mini run. The starting point of the race is the intersection of Jinjihu Avenue and Guobin Road.
The full marathon course remains largely unchanged from the previous year, passing through the Industrial Park, Gusu District, and High-tech Zone before returning to the starting point. The routes for the half marathon and mini run will closely follow the full marathon course. The half marathon course will divert north at the intersection of Changxu Road and Sanxiang Road, proceeding towards the south side of Ganjiang West Road (the other side is reserved for the full marathon). The mini run will divert east at Xinhang Street and continue along Dongzhen Road.
The full marathon finish line is located at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Center, the half marathon finish line is at City Plaza on the east side of the Gate of the Orient, and the mini run finish line is at Huangtiandang Park.
