Join San Giorgio Trail 2025
This fifth edition of the RAIFFEISEN San Giorgio Trail will have you running in an extraordinary and unique environment as it is one of the most important fossil deposits in the world from the Middle Triassic, a geological era between 247 and 237 million years ago.
You will therefore have the opportunity to discover or rediscover a naturalistic context of exceptional beauty just a few steps from home.
The race route will take you from the picturesque village of Riva San Vitale to the top of Mount San Giorgio , tackling almost 900 meters of uphill climb before you descend back to Riva San Vitale along a ridge in the woods.
We hope that the colors in October can give further stimulus and energy to face the 11 km and a little more of this route that we are sure will give you strong emotions and test you not only uphill but also for the descent: a real double challenge for an adrenaline-filled trail running.
