Join Sagalla Hills Marathon
Sagalla Hills Marathon is a run for Tourism which entails running round the Sagalla Hills to attain a Full Marathon Distance of 42 Kilometers. As we unleash the marathon ethos to run round the spectacular Hills of Sagalla, we have an opportunity to experience the numerous Tourist Attractions in Taita Taveta County. Away from the beautiful landscape of the Hills, the Marathon also encompasses an after-marathon tour to the great Tsavo National Parks located within the radius of the marathon route. You get to do a Game Drive to interact with the Kenyan “Big Five” among other diverse wild animals. Interacting with the local community would be another experience especially those on Camping and Home Stays, we light Bonfires as we have a taste of the African Culture in a Kenyan way; the traditional foods, dances just to mention but a few.
Perhaps one would want to use this opportunity to explore the larger Kenyan Coast. Well; it’s more than swimming at the Beach which is a few hours’ drive from Tsavo. The Sand Bath, Boat ride to experience marine life among other beach activities makes the Marathon a vacation altogether.
