Rubfila Palghat Marathon

Palakkad Round Table 81 invites you to a charity fund-raiser half-marathon event “Run for Education” to be conducted at the end of January at Palakkad. The entire proceeds of the event will go into infrastructure related projects for aided schools in Palakkad District. 

The 3 race event has a 21 Km Half-Marathon, 10 Km Race and a 5 Km Fun Run all being run concurrently on the same day and venue. The event will be flagged off from the iconic Rappadi Amphitheater on Fort Maidan at the heart of Palakkad Town at exactly 6:00 am. The 21 km Half-Marathon will go round the famous Fort Maidan, then proceed down the main arterial road via Sulthanpet Junction to Victoria College and then head right towards the scenic Malampuzha Gardens, and then double back via the same route to finish back at the Rappadi amphitheater. The 10 km and 5 km races too start from the same venue each 15 minutes apart after the 21 km race start, and runs along the same route except for a successively shorter distance to finish back at the start point. :21 K Race: Rs.500 per head10 K Race: Rs.350 per head05 K Race: Rs.300 per headGroup Registrations and Students can avail of a 10% discount.

Note: – Group Criteria: 10 or more non-students registering in a group.- Student Criteria: Compulsory to produce Student ID at registration time.- You can avail of discount only under one criteria. (i.e. 10 or more students registering as a group cannot demand discount under group criteria as well as student criteria)-21 K & 10 K participants will be provided with a “Run For Education 2016” branded T-Shirt on registration.-All categories of race participants will get a e-Certificate and Medal on race completion.
