Join Pula Marathon 2025
The race through the ancient city with the start in front of the Arena and the finish in the Arena itself will provide a unique pleasure for everyone. Marathon and half marathon, Pula Xica and 5km race on Saturday night with an entertainment program in the Pula Arena.
The half marathon race starts in front of the Arena at exactly 20.00. The runners continue to Punta, then to the right along the street of the 43rd Istrian Division to the big roundabout in Šijana where they turn left along the sidewalk along Ulica Prekomorskih Brigada (state road D 66). They return to Punat on Trščanska Street and continue along 119th Brigade Street towards Mandrač to the turnaround. They go back and run along the Riva. The entrances to Forum and Anticova Street come to INK where they turn left via Giardino and Carrarina Street to the City Library towards the Arena. The first lap is about 10.5 km so that all half marathoners continue on the same route and the second lap. When they return to the Arena, they descend next to Valerija Park to the Old Statute Street and immediately climb up to the right to Flavijevska Street and return to the Arena.
Course details
The half marathon starts in front of the Arena at 07.50 pm. It consists of 2 consecutive laps:
Istarska — Flavijevska — left lane of 43. Istarske divizije — turn left into Mutvoranska (for 250 m & back) — along the west sidewalk of Prekomorskih brigada — Tršćanska — Starih statuta — Riva — east lane 119th Brigade Street — Partizanski put — 180° turn 5m before the turn towards Pizzeria Tivoli — Partizanski put — west lane 119th Brigade Street — Riva — Flacijusova Street — entrance to the Forum — exit through Prolaz Svetog Nikole — Flacijusova Street — Dante’s Square — Anticova Street — west lane Laginjina — west lane Giardini — Carrarina — 90° turn right in front of the Pula City Library — Amfiteatarska
After second lap turn 90° right inside Amphitheater and reach the finish line in the Arena.
Pula X Race
Pula X Race (10K) starts in front of the Arena at 08.10 pm. Runners run along Flavijevska Street and turn right along 43. istarske divizije until they reach the big roundabout in Šijana, where they take the sidewalk and continue along Prekomorskih brigada Street. The rest of the route is as follows: Tršćanska — Starih statuta — Riva — east lane 119th Brigade Street — Partizanski put — 180° turn 5m before the turn toward Pizzeria Tivoli — Partizanski put — west lane 119th Brigade Street — Riva — Flacijusova — entrance to the Forum — exit through Prolaz Svetog Nikole — Flacijusova — Dante’s Square — Anticova — west lane Laginjina — west lane Giardini — Carrarina — 90° turn right in front of the Pula City Library — Amfiteatarska — entering the Arena — FINISH LINE
