Join Nagano Marathon
Nagano Marathon aims to uphold the ideals of the Nagano Olympics and fulfill the dreams of future generations while in coexistence with an environment rich in nature.
The course (42.195 km) is referred to as the “Nagano Marathon Course”, as participants run past the spectacular venues that were used during the 1998 Olympics. The race comes to a climax with the finish being in the actual “Olympic Stadium”.
The Nagano Olympic Commemorative Marathon (Japanese: 長野オリンピック記念 長野マラソン) is an annual marathon road race which takes place in mid-April in Nagano, Japan. It is an IAAF Bronze Label Road Race competition. The Nagano Marathon has races for both elite and amateur runners. It is named in honour of the 1998 Winter Olympics which were held in Nagano.
