Join Matero Half Marathon
Welcome to the second edition of the Matero Half Marathon/ Cross Country the city within city where everything is possible.
The Run will start at 05:30 AM at Bonanza Golf Course | Ciela Resort- Bonanza Estate in Lusaka Zambia on the Ngwerere Road and head to Bonanza Estate, the runners will experience smooth road throughout the 21.1 Km ,10Km and Cross Country. Runners will have water stops every 3km.
The 21.1km and 10km Cross Country runners will start and end in the same place while 21.1 Km will run within the Bonanza Estate and Cross Country this will be 21.1Km is 50% and 50% gravel and tar roads and Cross Country 95% gravel roads. They will join again near the end to finish along the same track which they started on. There will be water points and Marshals throughout the Marathon.

What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
We will provide refunds to all registrants ONLY if the event is unable to be conducted as an in-person event, or their registration cannot be finalized due to imposed registration caps or other regulations (ie vaccine mandate, out-of-state restrictions, etc.). Also, we do NOT provide any refunds for registrants that are unable to participate for any reason if the event is conducted. If you register and are unable to participate, you will NOT be refunded or credited for any reason.
