"Asd Elba Runners" Sports Association organises the Elba Island Marathon. A race that has become one of the most attended sport events on the island thanks to the popularity of the oldest sport in the world and a place with unique charm.
Athletes from all over Italy, Europe and the world (professional athletes, amateur sportsmen, walkers, enthusiasts, tourists, families, etc.), make it a day of sport and celebration.
The start is along the seafront and while the shorter routes run through the beautiful village of Marina di Campo, the longer distances then head towards one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Italy and the island, along the "Coast of the sun", surrounded by unspoilt nature on one side and the blue sea on the other. For everyone, the arrival will be in Marina di Campo, with a rich buffet offered, Radio Bruno live music, massage service, "pasta party" for everyone, and much more.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The bibs will be distributed in Marina di Campo at the Piazza del Comune, where a special area will be set up for the occasion, on the following days: Friday 7 May 2027 from 3pm to 6pm Saturday 8 May 2027 from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm Sunday 9 May 2027 from 7:00 to 8:00
What is the difference between "competitive", "non-competitive" and "no chip timing" registration?
* To register for the "competitive" category you have to submit a valid FIDAL card + medical certificate, an EPS card with club confirmation, or a Runcard with medical certificate. * If you are a foreigner not residing in Italy, you can register for the"non-competitive" participation. This does not require an membership or medical certificates. You will have to sign a waiver. Your race will be chip timed although your result will not participate in the ranking; it will be listed alphabetically. - The "no chip timing" category is open to everyone and does not require licences, waivers or certificates. Participants in this category are not timed.
