The Trail Linhas de Torres event is a race mainly on trails and with some road sections. It was held for the first time in 2013, to pay tribute to all those who built and defended the defensive system, a tourist-military heritage of Portugal, known as Linhas de Torres. This tourist attraction is located in the municipalities of Arruda dos Vinhos, Loures, Mafra, Sobral de Monte Agraço, Torres Vedras and Vila Franca de Xira.
