STAGE 1: Bagnères de Luchon - Lourdes | 150Km +4.209m
We will start leaving Bagnères de Luchon towards the Peyresourde road, where we will start this first pass at km 2, always heading west towards the Louron valley. With long straights and a twisty final part we will crown this first difficulty of the day. On the descent of this pass, we will cross the town of Arreau, to start one of the little brothers of the Tourmalet because they always go together in the stages of the Tour, the Col d’Aspin. Then, without too much flat terrain, you will start the most mythical ascent of all the Pyrenees, the giant of giants: the Col du Tourmalet on the side of Sainte Marie de Campan, at the top of which awaits you moments of enjoyment, photos and sensations not to forget. After 16Km of descent, we will go down to Luz Saint-Sauveur and after a few flat kilometers along the Gave de Pau river, we will turn right to face Hautacam, at the top of which we will turn and go back down the same road until the arrival in Lourdes. *You have the option to avoid Hautacam and thus reduce 26Km and 1,100m of vertical drop.

STAGE 2: Lourdes - Lourdes | 143Km +3.068m
The day begins in the tranquility of Lourdes on a secondary road that leads to Argelès-Gazost, but soon you will be climbing the Soulor, where every pedal stroke is a conquest. The Soulor has its own entity, no doubt, but many times in the Tour de France it is just the prelude to another of the giants of the Pyrenees, the Col d’Aubisque, which will challenge you as few other passes have done. On this side the climb is really inhospitable and very hard and you will be amazed by the scenery and the road carved into the rock. At the top of the Aubisque awaits the famous giant bikes that crown it and another time of enjoyment before the descent. After a spectacular descent, we will cross the town of Louvie-Juzon to face 35km of undulating terrain without big slopes and on very secondary roads. In Ferrières we started the last climb of the day, a port incorporated into the Tour de France in 2023, the Col de Spandelles with 10Km of ascent. From there to Lourdes first a long descent of 16Km and the last stretch of 12Km flat to the finish. *At the top of the Aubique you have the option to turn and make the descent by the Ferrières slope, where we connect again the ascent to the col de Spandelles and from there, back to Lourdes by secondary road with 28Km favorable and very easy.

STAGE 3: Lourdes - Vielha | 148Km +4,141
Your last journey takes you back to Bagnères de Luchon, but it won’t be easy. 4 passes are waiting for you and once again, challenging you. It will be the most difficult stage, especially because of the accumulated elevation gain in your legs from the previous days. We start with the ascent of the pass that runs parallel to the Aspin, the Col Hourquette d’Ancizan. Col d’Hourquette d’Ancizan an inhospitable climb on a narrow and perfectly asphalted road through spectacular scenery. The descent will cross us near Arreau and Saint-Lary-Soulan to start the ascent to the Col Val Louron – Azet which with its endless curves is sure to impress you. Then we will undo part of the path of the beginning of the first day with a part of the Peyresourde passing before Peyragudes, where you can climb the impressive ramp of the Altiport with up to 17% gradient. The descent will take us right to the top of Peyresourde and then, to Bagnères de Luchon where we will start the last of the colossus of Legends, the mythical Superbagnères with 18Km of ascent that will take you to one of the most emblematic summits. From there, there is only the descent back to Bagnères de Luchon and the end of Legends. *When you reach Bagnères de Luchon, you have the option to leave Superbagnères for another occasion and thus reduce 37Km and 1.200m of elevation gain.

No competition

keyboard_arrow_down

Legends is neither a competition nor a cycling tour. It's a guided group route or a social ride where the focus is on the experience of riding in company, following the best routes, ensuring safety, and enjoying the journey. So, remember: The use of the road is shared with other vehicles. You must comply with traffic regulations at all times and everything that affects you as a cyclist. There is no classification. You'll need to be extremely cautious at all times, but especially on downhill sections, where you'll encounter a fairly difficult level of difficulty with tight curves and wet conditions that can ALWAYS be resolved by slowing down. You must follow the instructions of the support staff and use common sense, being civil and interacting with your fellow travelers and other vehicles.
