Once again, the route meticulously designed by the island itself is consolidated along the east coast, passing through various municipalities of Lanzarote. This route, as demanding as it is spectacular, will not leave you indifferent, offering numerous points of character and cultural interest where distances become secondary.
The unique landscape and beauty of the island, combined with excellent December temperatures, make the Font Vella Lanzarote International Marathon a significant attraction.
From the queen distance of 42.195km to the 21.1km and the 10km, along with the children’s race and the 5km Santa Claus Race, our organisation has dedicated itself to staging a grand running festival, where we will be attentive to every detail for your enjoyment.

Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes. If running numbers are in production, change distance is not allowed. If you change to a higher, you must pay the difference.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Registration is not refundable.
Shuttles to start line for 21K and 10K races

Where I can leave my things during the event?
There will be a wardrobe at the Runners Area available for all participants. During the race number collection, all runners will receive a bag to put all your belongings on the day of the event and subsequent deposit in the cloakroom. Along with this bag you will get some stickers with your race number, which should hit the front of the bag. Please check the sticker number matches your back, otherwise, please report to the organisation. At the Starting Line for Half Marathon and 10Km distances, there will be organisation vehicles that will have collected your belongings and deposited in the Runner Area during the race. This vehicles only accept official organisation bags, not being accepted personal bags, suitcases or other luggage. Wardrobe opening at 06:30 Wardrobe closing at 15:00
Is there a time limit?
Yes. The time limit is six hours for marathon distance, three hours and thirty minutes for the half marathon distance, two hours for the 10 kilometres. Once past that limit, you must leave the race. The organisation has a car broom to assist those who exceed this limit.
Can I run with my pet or baby carriage?
No. Due to health and safety reasons, pets and baby carriage are not allowed.
