Join Kamloops Marathon
The Kamloops Marathon, which is a certified Boston Marathon qualifier, starts and finishes at beautiful McArthur Island park, located on the north bank of the south Thompson River.
The route takes runners along the rivers trail, a diverse and inspiring urban trail linking five different neighborhoods and communities within the City of Kamloops. Runners enjoy unique Kamloops scenery including mountains, grasslands, river valleys, sage-covered hills, cactus and impressive ponderosa pines. The route takes racers through Riverside Park, one of the jewels of the Kamloops parks system with stunning river views, mature trees, and historic sites.
Kamloops’ variety of terrain and pleasant climate make it an ideal running location.
