Join Jinshanling Great Wall 100 Ultra Trail
The GW100 Ultra Trail was founded in 2023 around the most prestigious part of the Great Wall, known as the “Jinshanling" section. 130km northeast of Beijing, the Jinshanling Great Wall was constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). The race course consists of the whole Jinshanling Great Wall and the surrounding Yanshan mountain ridge, providing runners with a unique experience combining Chinese culture and stunning landscape of a major mountain range on the North China Plain. The event breaks down into 4 distances, including 100km, 50km, 30km, and 10km, all races go through the whole Jinshanling Great Wall section. The courses for 2024 are replanned and upgraded from last year, aiming to offer runners better, yet once-in-a-lifetime racing experience.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
For distances of 100km, 50km, and 30km, the race pack pick-up opens on Sep 20, 2024, from 14:00 to 23:00. For 10km and youth groups, runners can pick up the race pack on both the 21st and 22nd of September. If runners are having difficulty of collecting race pack on the scheduled date, please contact the organizer for special arrangements.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Race pack pick-up can only be done by the runners themselves.
How do I get to the race location?
It would be about 1 hour and 45 minutes drive from Beijing City to the venue at Jinshanling Great Wall. Otherwise, shuttle service from Beijing City to the venue is available for the runners. The shuttle schedule will be released prior to the race, allowing the organizer to make necessary adjustments to provide better transportation service.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes, please contact the platform to change to another distance.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
Within 72 hours of signing up and making the payment, 100% refund is allowed. Otherwise, 50% refund is available until the registration period ends. After the registration period, no refund is allowed.
Required race experience
1. 100km - Runners need to have previous trail racing finish of 50km minimum distance and submit the finish certificate for official approval. 2. 50km - Runners need to have previous race finish of 21km minimum and submit the finish certificate for approval. - Runners need to have previous trail racing finish of 20km minimum distance and submit the finish certificate for approval.
