IRONMAN 70.3 Campeche offers athletes a unique experience in one of Mexico's hidden gems. Set in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the race showcases Campeche's charming colonial city centre, known for its pastel-coloured houses and vibrant history. Participants can look forward to the local warm hospitality, making this destination not only a race but an unforgettable cultural journey. It's the perfect backdrop for athletes to challenge themselves and be lured back repeatedly.
Course details
The swim will be a rolling start. Athletes will enter the water in a continuous stream (Country Club Campeche) through a controlled access point, similar to how running road races are started. An athlete’s times will start when they cross timing mats at the start line. Athletes will be directed to self-seed on race morning based on their projected swim time. Volunteers and staff will be in the staging area with signs and will assist with this process. Self-seeding will not be mandatory but will be encouraged.
BIKE
Athletes will exit T1 and head towards the Merida Highway to start the bike course. Turning to the right (bridge) to get into the Malecon Ave. and then the two-loop, 56-mile (90 km) bike course will take athletes up and back along the Malecon Ave. & Merida Highway before dismount.
RUN
The three-loop flat and fast 13.1-mile (21.1 km) run course winds along the Campeche´s Marine Fountains, Malecon Ave. & Downtown. Athletes will be treated to a very spectator friendly run course before finishing at the Sea Gate.

Each participant must pick up their race kit in person and must show a valid picture ID (i.e., passport, driver's license, or visa).
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Registration for this event is personal, non-transferable, non-refundable and it is valid for this edition only. It is strictly forbidden to hand your number to another person or to participate with someone else’s number; to do so may lead to a sanction of up to 12 months.
