“Experience the Heyford Park Airbase Half Marathon – fast, flat, fantastic! The route utilises the Airbase’s runway, RAF taxiway & NATO taxiway and is therefore pancake flat, traffic-free, and pretty much PB guaranteed!
This is a race for every ability, whether you are aiming to set a new PB or improve on recent race times, competing against your club-mates, venturing into racing for the first time or stepping up a distance.
Get an insight into what went on ‘Behind the Wire’ at Oxfordshire’s most formidable Cold War Airbase, set in the beautiful Cherwell Valley countryside.”
