关于 Hell Hath No Hurry
Settlers Cabin Park is a 1,610-acre (7 km2) county park in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a part of the county’s 12,000 acre (49 km²) network of nine distinct parks. It is sited 15 miles (24 km) west of downtown Pittsburgh in Collier, North Fayette, and Robinson Townships. Archaeologists from Carnegie Museum of Natural History helped identify the 1780s log house that gives the park its name. The themes of the 11 picnic groves are Indian names: Algonquin, Seneca, Apache, Tomahawk, etc. This area of southwestern PA was once a hot area for coal mining. Parts of the park are still actively used for mining.
This annual running event takes place in Settler’s Cabin Park near the Pittsburgh International Airport during the early summer, with temperatures that will range from low 70’s and sun to hazy hot and humid. This event is low-key and personal, but has hand crafted finishers awards and a top notch aid station. The premise of the race is simple: run as far as you can in 12 hours. To win, you have to run the farthest distance in the shortest amount of time. All runners will be traversing the same 10K loop for 8 times as they make their way to the race goal distance of 50 Miles. There will also be a full BBQ complete with beer and soda for all runners, crew, volunteers and friends at the start/finish line.
