Join Griffith Park Trail Marathon
The Griffith Park Trail Marathon was created by Keira Henninger to give an opportunity for runners to accomplish running on trails longer than they ever imagined possible. This is a faster course with some solid good hills, and up to fourteen flat fast runnable miles. You will cross paths with every historical landmark that Griffith Park has to offer, and experience the magic of what this special place has to see.
This course starts and ends at the Park Center. Runners get the chance to run the challenging hills and trails of a piece of Hollywood history at the Griffith Park Trail Half Marathon, which takes runners on an out-and-back course through this park in the middle of one of the nation’s largest urban areas that’s played a role in countless movies and television shows.
All runners will get to enjoy an amazing yummy lunch provided by Whole Foods West Hollywood and Subway.
Seven well stocked aid stations with sweet and salty snacks, fruit, PB&J's, Clif shot electrolyte drink and Clif gels, Salt Stick electrolyte caps, and crazy volunteers will be on hand to nourish your bodies and your spirits. Some aid stations will be stocked with ice. Bathrooms are available at certain aid stations.
Participants receive a medal and belt buckle for finishing Marathon.
