The fast-paced course will lead you through the grand Piazza Unità, vibrant city streets, and scenic alleys, all the way to the final ascent known as “Il Muro.” This challenging last kilometer rewards you with breathtaking views of the Austrian fortress bastions at the finish.
Alongside the main event, we’re excited to introduce the 10K Non Competitive Ten, perfect for runners who wish to experience the Corsa dei Castelli without the need for membership or a medical certificate. Additionally, we invite families to join the 8 km Family Run, promoting fitness as a foundation for well-being.
Let the 9th Corsa dei Castelli take you on a 10 km adventure through stunning historical landmarks, with Miramare and San Giusto Castles framing your journey. Course details
As for the Family Run 8k, the starting point is also Miramare Castle. Participants will follow a route along the picturesque seafront of Barcola, enjoying a pleasant and panoramic ride. The race ends in the historic Piazza Unità d'Italia, where families and friends can celebrate the shared experience together.
In both cases, participants will have the opportunity to appreciate the architectural and natural beauty of Trieste while testing themselves with a sporting challenge.

The location and times of the registration centre will be announced through social channels in the days before the event.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes, it is absolutely possible to delegate someone else to pick up your bib and race pack for you. Complete and sign the proxy form and the privacy form. These documents are available for download on our website. Provide the delegate with a copy of the Corsa dei Castelli registration confirmation letter. You will also need to provide a copy of your ID to verify your identity and the validity of the power of attorney.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Registration cannot be transferred to another athlete and no refunds are provided.
Time limit for 10km?
The time limit to finish the 10 km race is set at 1.5 hours
