Chisinau International Marathon is Moldova’s flagship running event, bringing together thousands of participants from dozens of countries. The race will take place in the centre of Chisinau, with the start and finish at Piața Marii Adunări Naționale. Participants can choose from 42, 21, 10, or 5-kilometre distances, making the event suitable for marathon runners, half marathoners, shorter-distance runners, and families. The course follows classic loops along the main boulevard, Ștefan cel Mare, and is described as fast and flat, offering conditions for personal bests. The event includes music zones, volunteers, hydration points, support stations, and cheering areas along the route. Chisinau’s traditions, culture, and green boulevards form the setting for the race, which attracts runners from many countries and includes local hospitality for international visitors. The marathon is planned as an accessible autumn running event in the heart of Moldova’s capital. It offers participants a city-centre race experience across several distance formats.

Great National Assembly Square – Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard – Ismail Street – back along Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard to the Great National Assembly Square.
10 km race
Great National Assembly Square – Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard – Ciuflea Street – Dacia Boulevard (turnaround point near Rose Street) – return along Dacia Boulevard and Ciuflea Street – Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard (up to the area of Toma Ciorbă Street) – back along Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard to the Great National Assembly Square.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Friday 10:00 — 19:00 Saturday 10:00 — 19:00 Sunday 6:00 — 8:00 (for foreign participants only) Start packages will be distributed at the registration tent in Sport EXPO area in the Great National Assembly Square, Chisinau. Please bring this confirmation and an ID to collect the race pack.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
You can’t change the distance after registration.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
If a participant withdraws from the event, the registration fee will NOT be refunded. In this case, we recommend that you replace one participant with another with the transfer of the starter package to the new participant.
