Challenge Gdańsk is a standout middle‑distance triathlon on Poland’s Baltic coast, part of the global Challenge Family series. Centered on Gdańsk’s Brzeźno beach, athletes begin with a Baltic Sea swim beside the pier before heading onto a flat, fast bike course on closed urban roads, known for its smooth surfaces and unique tunnel section. The run unfolds along the seaside promenade and parkland, with energetic crowds, sea breezes, and views of the city’s maritime skyline guiding athletes to a beachside finish. Held in early summer, the event hosts professional and age‑group fields, plus relays, sprint and junior races, creating a festival feel with a compact, athlete‑friendly venue. With efficient logistics, Polish hospitality, and a course built for personal bests, Challenge Gdańsk blends coastal racing with a city‑break vibe in one of Europe’s most historic port cities.
Course details
1 lap of 1,9 km
Challenge Gdansk starts with one swim lap of 1,9 kilometers in the city beach, next to the Gdansk Brzeźno Pier where will be located finish line. Start of the race will be located on the left side of the pier, while swim finish will be located on the right sidee of the pier.
Bike
1 lap of 90 km
The middle distance Challenge Gdańsk bike course will consist of one 90 km loop. The route will lead through the Żuławy Wiślane region towards the towns of Koszwały, Cedry Małe, and Kiezmark.
A detailed map of the cycling route will be available at a later date.
Run
4 laps of 5,25 km
Four lap run course provide athletes among Gdansk city beach and very nice Ronald Reagan park where during sunny day athletes can catch some shadow and rest from sun. Be ready for your finish line which will have unique location at the city pier.

Changes of modality or changes of one participant for another or of a member of a club for another of the same team or club are allowed up to 21 days before the race. Transfer fee is 15 EUR.
