Join Naturosa Catania Marathon 2025
The Catania Marathon was established in 2018 to bring the sport of marathon running back to Catania. It has grown steadily, offering multiple race options to accommodate all levels of runners. The upcoming marathon has a certified route through Catania's historical center and has earned recognition from FIDAL and World Athletics. The event fosters a supportive atmosphere and celebrates participants' achievements. After the race, there is a festive celebration featuring local cuisine and entertainment. The Catania Marathon highlights both athleticism and the cultural beauty of the city.
Course details
The route winds along a circuit of (10.548km) to be repeated several times in relation to the race distance.
10.5km - 1 Lap
Half Marathon - 2 Laps
Marathon - 4 Laps
The circuit is run starting on Viale Kennedy (at Lido Verde) in the direction of Siracusa. You arrive at the end of Viale Kennedy and go back until you reach the height of the Municipal Swimming Pool where there will be a buoy and you will go back in the direction of Siracusa until you pass by the Start/Finish Area.
