As a continuation of the efforts undertaken since 2016 by the City of Casablanca and Casablanca Events & Animation to position the Casablanca International Marathon as a leading sporting event at both national and continental levels, the organization of a 10 km race has emerged as a strategic imperative.
WeCasablanca International Challenge: “The 10,000 m by WeCasablanca” was conceived as a powerful driver to democratize running, while also affirming Casablanca as a center of excellence in urban sports. This distance — both accessible to amateurs and challenging for seasoned athletes — brings together a wide audience, fosters civic engagement, and attracts runners of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities.
