This great meditative run takes you through the hills and meadows of historic Camp Roberts Army National Guard Reservation in north San Luis Obispo County along the fertile Salinas River Valley. All racers can expect to see abundant wildlife, lots of rivers and lakes, tree-shaded hillsides, and flocks of sheep who are oftentimes the only “spectators” you’ll find along the serene and peaceful course.
Revenue from Buzz Marathon helps fund the athletic programs at Lillian Larsen Elementary School grades K-8, and USAWOA Gold Coast Chapter projects such as the Sacramento Children’s Receiving Home.
