Join Brandon Bay Half Marathon & 10 km Run
Ireland’s only ALL BEACH half marathon & 10k event is fantastic day of running, jogging & walking set entirely on the beach around the beautiful Brandon Bay, Castle gregory, Co. Kerry. The date for the event will coincide with the Castlegregory Summer festival in mid July.
Course Highlights
Both events will begin and end at Fahamore in the Maharees with participants who are running the half marathon running the entire length of the amazing beach (out & back) and 10k runners turning after 5k (out and back). If it is a running event like no other, surrounded by the beauty of the West Kerry peninsula you are after, then The Brandon Bay half marathon & 10k run has it all. Ireland's only running event entirely run on a beach!! What a challenge.
*Note: Distance shown is entire length of the beach out & back, 23.07km, allowing plenty space for the course.
