The H'Attard Local Council has entrusted the Malta Marathon to organise the H'Attard 5K & H'Attard 10K to raise their standard. These 2 races together with the the Malta Marathon, the Mdina 2 Spinola, the Zurrieq Half Marathon & 10K, the Gaudos Half Marathon & 10K and the Ladies Running Club 10K are the most popular road race events in Malta, all 7 of which are organised by the Malta Marathon .

Course highlights

This course has a loop of about 2.25km followed by another loop of 2.75km. This is quite a fast route, having just 15m elevation gain. The course starts and finishes in the Old runway of Ta' Qali which was used during the second world war and for some years after. From the start, the route heads towards the national stadium, passes it and then passes through the BOV Adventure park service road to pass by the start area at about 2.25km. From the start, the route than passes once again from the national stadium and instead of going through the BOV Adventure park service road, the route continues to go round and head down the old runway to the finish line.
