Keys 100

Join Keys 100
The Keys 100 is a 100 mile road ultramarathon that runs the length of the Florida Keys. This Southernmost part of the United States is a chain of unique and inter-connected islands that ends in the City of Key West, just 90 miles from Cuba. The Florida Keys, known locally as "The Conch Republic", is a spectacular and laid-back sub-tropical paradise, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Florida Bay/Gulf of Mexico.
Course highlights
The KEYS100 will follow US Highway #1, known in the Florida Keys as "Overseas Highway", until approximately the last four miles, where the course turns left onto South Roosevelt Blvd. in Key West and follows the wide ocean sidewalk along the Atlantic Ocean shore to the finish line at Higgs Beach. The 100-mile Individual race will begin on the bike trail/sidewalk near Mile Marker 100 in front of the Office Depot/Divers Direct shopping center in Key Largo, FL.
At least half the race will be run on existing sidewalks and service lanes with the balance facing traffic on the road shoulder. These shoulders are adequate, even on the many bridges that connect island to island. But, traffic on Highway #1 can be heavy year round. It is the only road that runs the entire length of the Keys.
