Good Running Events looks forward to welcoming thousands of runners of all abilities and ages to Green Park in Reading, Berkshire, to run a 10K, 3K or Mini Mile on Sunday 1st June 2025.
Taking place on 1st June 2025 and organised by Good Running Events, Green Park Reading 10K is a series of runs hosted on the closed roads in and around Green Park in Reading. With a road based start and finish and a super flat course, it offers participants a fantastic opportunity for their new PB.
Course details
With a Start and Finish within the closed roads of the Park, the event boasts a scenic route with stunning views of the Berkshire Countryside.
Mini Marathon 3K
With a Start/Finish and large Event village within Green Park, the event boasts a flat route which is fantastic to run for the whole family.
Mini Mile
With a start and finish based within the Green Park, the crowds are always out in force to create a super atmosphere and provide lots of enthusiastic support for all those taking part.

Frequently asked questions
When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
All Bib Numbers are posted out in advance to UK residents - but should you need to collect a replacement or a late entry, you can report to the Race Registration tent in the Event Village on Race Day. Full instructions for Bib Numbers can be found within the Race Guide emailed out ahead of Race Day.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
You have no right to cancel your participation and demand a refund once Green Park Reading 10K has accepted your Event application.
Can I run with my dog?
Unfortunately, as per UKA rules, running with dogs is not allowed.
Can I bring my dog to the event village?
Dogs are permitted on leads within the event village but are unfortunately not permitted within the race itself.
Can I run with headphones?
Bone conducting headphones are allowed in line with England Athletics rules, but in ear headphones of all types are banned from this race.
Is there a cut-off time?
All participants must complete the Green Park Reading 10K within 1 Hour 30 minutes to ensure that the roads can be reopened on time.
How old do I have to be to run?
4 years old or older on Race Day for Mini Mile, all under 16s must be accompanied by Adult in the Mini Mile and Mini Marathon races, and 16 years+ to take part in the 10K. You must be 16 years or older on race day to take part in the 10K.
