Join GravelMan Marseille 2026
GravelMan Marseille is a cycling event offering gravel and road routes in the Marseille region. It is designed for riders interested in ultra-endurance, bikepacking, and long-distance challenges, with formats suited to both beginners and experienced cyclists.
The event features ten options: gravel or road routes of just under 500, 350, 200, 120, and 60 kilometers. Each participant can choose a distance and surface according to their level and objectives. The routes include varied terrain, notable climbs, and viewpoints across this part of southern France, with the event taking place in December.
A few days before the start, participants receive the route map and a race manual containing the necessary information for the adventure and the GravelMan Series rules. Registration includes access to the chosen gravel or road challenge, a limited-edition GravelMan Marseille item, a finisher medal, GPS tracking for safety and live follow-up, a live-tracking platform, route files, equipment checks, a race briefing, and professional event photos.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
The refund of registration fees (excluding administrative fees of €10 including VAT) will be made by a partial credit of the payment to a bank account provided by the participant.
Navigation
The use of a dedicated cycling GPS is recommended. Each athlete must follow the mandatory GravelMan route. You can extract the GPX file corresponding to your format (road or gravel) from Strava, located in the Drive attached to the email sent 10 days prior to the event, and transfer it directly to your GPS.
Mandatory clothing
- Warm gloves for cold temperatures - Cold-resistant clothing - Reflective clothing (Audax vest, safety vest) - Jacket with hood, made with a waterproof membrane (minimum recommended 10,000 *Schmerber) and breathable (*RET recommended less than 13) - if no hood, headband and beanie are allowed. - Helmet - Glasses
Mandatory equipment
- Front and rear lights: 200 lumens or more for the main light. A headlamp is also recommended. - Bicycle pump mandatory, even if you are using tubeless tires - Repair kit: patch, glue and tire lever - 1 inner tube, or even two if possible - 1 survival blanket - Mobile phone and charger - Minimum water reserve: 1.5 liters - Recommended 5000 mAh / 10000 mAh external battery - Recommended 1000 calories of food reserve - Whistle required
What is the GravelMan Series?
The GravelMan Series® events are ultra-distance cycling events described as "unassisted" (bikepacking), offering 6 distances: 60 km, 120 km, 200 km, 350 km, 500 km and 700 km. All, or almost all, of the dates have these distances in Road and Gravel versions. - Road = 100% road - Gravel = 70-60% gravel and 30-40% road
