About Dry Creek Trail Races

Join the scenic trail race through the Cheatham Wildlife Management Area. You can choose to race either the full marathon, half marathon, or a 10K. This is a scenic course where you'll be spending most of your time running on soft dirt or packed gravel jeep roads. 

Dry Creek is run entirely through the Cheatham Wildlife Management Area - a scenic and expansive 20,000 acre natural environment just northwest of Nashville. With sections of fast, soft packed jeep roads, single track trails in the deep woods, a stream crossing, and only one significant climb, you will be in for the run of a lifetime!

With 3 distance options, this is the perfect race for trail pros and novices alike!

Practicalities

Aid Stations

Aid Stations about every 3 miles. You MUST carry your own handheld if you plan to drink from the stations. There will be trash receptacles at each aid station.

Award Medals

Age Group Awards - Under 45: Top 3 Male and Female,.45 & Up: Top 3 Male and Female

Maximum Time

For the Marathon, there will be a 5 hour cutoff time.

Overview

The course provides sections of fast soft packed jeep roads, single track trails in the deep woods, a stream crossing, and only one significant climb (that magically becomes steeper the second time around for those running the marathon). The Marathon course is 2 times the Half course.
