Ultra Marathon Caballo Blanco

The Ultra Marathon Caballo Blanco registrations is conducted and coordinated by True Messages (a 501c3 nonprofit continuing the projects and messages of a simple messenger with a powerful message: Micah True el Caballo Blanco) along with the Municipality of Urique, Chihuahua with support from ‘Mas Locos’ throughout the world. The UMCB has an incredible and storied history and is considered one of Ultra Marathon Running’s must-do bucket list events. Started by Micah True who had a goal to bring runners from all over the world and introduce them to the Ramamuri peoples, their beautiful lands and their cultural traditions and wisdoms. The Ultra events bring together endurance athletes from all over the planet to run together with 600-800 Raramuri athletes.
Now also added last year is the ultimate endurance challenge a 100 Mile journey through the majestic Sierra Tarahumara! The 50 Mile Ultra remains one of the most iconic run in the Americas and the distance that most all of the Raramuri athletes will take on. The Marathon and Half are still a very very challenging run but you are rewarded by the beauty and magic of these lands and surely one of the most scenic runs on the planet.
All event registrations include the races and attendance to the full weekend of cultural stage events, activities and gatherings in Urique. Recognizing that the logistics of getting to the event and securing accommodations can sometimes present a challenge, again this year we have arranged with local businesses to offer ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ type packages as well as help and support for getting to and from the Sierra Tarahumara and hotel/hostel/housing once you are there for race week(end)
