Scottish Half Marathon

The Scottish Half Marathon is a road race over a measured distance of 13.1 miles. It is delivered under a permit from Scottish Athletics. The race will be refereed under the rules of Scottish Athletics.The Scottish Half Marathon is organised by the same team responsible for the Edinburgh Marathon Festival. Individual runners can run the whole distance or teams of two can share the experience in the Duo Challenge.

The route is seriously flat & rapid – if you want to set a personal best for a half marathon, then this is the event for you. Starting conveniently at 11am just outside Edinburgh, you will run along the magnificent East Lothian Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse.
