The Amica Newport Marathon is an annual race held in Newport, Rhode Island. It features a scenic course that takes runners along the picturesque coastline and through historic neighborhoods. The event attracts both local and international participants, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for all skill levels.

Both courses are USATF-certified and can be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon and all other major marathon events.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Friday 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Saturday 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Sunday 5:15 AM – 7:15 AM Location: Easton’s Beach, East Parking Lot Sunday 5:15 AM – 7:15 AM
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
All participants must show a photo ID at pick-up. Participants may pick-up for friends and family, but must provide a copy of the ID or a photo of the ID on their phone for verification.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes. Please contact us.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
We do not offer refunds. However we do offer Eventbrite Credits good for future Amica Newport Marathons and for other events on our calendar. We do not offer transfers to another person.
Can I push a stroller?
We do not allow the following on the course: unregistered runners, pets, baby joggers, strollers, any wheeled vehicles other than wheelchairs (In accordance with USATF guidelines, wheelchair athletes must wear helmets).
Can I wear headphones?
Yes. Headphones are permitted but we ask you to please be considerate and keep the volume low enough so that you remain aware of your surroundings, course marshals, volunteers, staff and fellow runners.
