Join Nakawan Ultra
The Nakawan Ultra takes runners into the rugged landscapes of northern Malaysia, following trails across the Nakawan Range, the country’s longest limestone mountain range bordering Thailand. The course combines forest trails, village roads, paddy fields, and steep climbs that test both physical and mental endurance. One of the highlights is reaching the ridgeline, where runners are rewarded with expansive views stretching across the surrounding countryside and, on clear mornings, the feeling of running above the clouds. The event embraces a "Runcation" concept, encouraging participants to combine trail running with exploration of Perlis. Wildlife sightings, including monkeys near the start area, add to the raw and natural atmosphere that makes this race stand out from more developed trail destinations.
