The Mljet Trail event offers an unforgettable running experience through the breathtaking landscapes of Mljet National Park. Participants can choose from several carefully designed trails, each highlighting the island’s unique natural and historical treasures. Runners journey through lush pine forests, along the turquoise Adriatic coast, and around two picturesque saltwater lakes. The trails also feature historical landmarks, such as the impressive Roman Palace, considered one of the largest and best-preserved structures on the Croatian coast. Routes vary in length and difficulty, making this event accessible to everyone—from seasoned marathoners tackling a demanding course filled with stunning panoramic views, to beginners enjoying a more relaxed loop. Even children can join in on a specially designed fun trail. The event is a celebration of outdoor adventure, blending competitive spirit with the serene beauty of Mljet, ensuring every participant leaves with cherished memories of this remarkable national park.
Course details
42km and the first trail marathon of Mljet National Park!
Starting from Pomena along the sea to Polača, where you’ll pass through the Roman Palace, the third best-preserved and largest Roman monument on the Croatian coast. From Polača, the trail climbs into the green forests of Mljet, soon merging with the Red Trail, which passes through the most beautiful part of Mljet National Park, encircling both lakes in a single loop. The route also includes the stunning Soline, beautiful coves, and a ridge in the heart of the park with breathtaking views.
RED TRAIL
23.4 km of pure enjoyment in the beauty of the national park!

BLUE TRAIL
A 13 km trail that encircles both lakes and climbs to the top of Montokuc, offering a breathtaking view!
Although, we admit, there’s a high chance your breath will already be taken away by the short but steep ascent. Whether you’ve been with us throughout the whole week or are here for the beauty of the Blue Trail, you’ll definitely take home a memory to cherish.
GREEN TRAIL
A 6 km long trail that passes through the most beautiful part of Mljet National Park and encircles both lakes!
The Green Trail is perfect for beginners and those who want to enjoy a relaxed loop around the lakes without overexerting themselves. 🙂 This trail is made for hedonists!
