Lidingöloppet i Funäsfjällen delivers Sweden’s most beautiful mountain running across 30K, 20K, and 10K courses, all starting and finishing at the Bruksvallarna ski stadium. Expect steep climbs, rolling paths, flat meadows, and gravel stretches framed by sweeping views, including from Kariknallen’s top cabin (1050 m) toward Helags, Sylarna, Skars, and Mittåkläppen. The flagship 30K is a demanding, high-elevation test; the 20K is a scenic gem with 530 m of ascent; and the 10K offers a shorter but spirited introduction through bogs, mountain flowers, and along the Ljusnan. Sections of technical mountain running blend with the Pilgrimsleden’s flowing trail, delivering an unbeatable mix of adrenaline and nature. Course details
The Lidingöloppet i Funäsfjällen 10K offers an opportunity to explore beautiful mountain terrain without having to take on the full distance. At 10 km, this race still poses a significant challenge and is the perfect first step on the path to one day perhaps venturing on our most demanding distance - 30K.
The race starts at the ski stadium in Bruksvallarna and takes the runners across the Ljusnan at the wooden bridge. The runners start calmly for the first 500 meters and the route is lined with grassy bogs, mountain flowers and a babbling brook, creating a scenic and inspiring environment. When the runners reach the top of the mountain at Kariknallen (1050 m above sea level), sloping paths await them that lead down towards the mountain birch forest. The race ends over the new snowmobile bridge and into the finish line at the ski stadium.
20k trail
With a distance of 20 kilometers, which weaves together the beauty of the mountains throughout Bruksvallarna and ends at the beautifully located ski stadium, this race is a gem and will be considered by many as one of Sweden's most beautiful course stretches - with a total of 530 meters of elevation gain.
The race takes runners through terrain where flat meadows and gravel roads alternate with sloping paths and steep hills. The first 5 km go up towards Kariknallen's top cabin (1050 m above sea level) and the views over Helags, Sylarna, Skars and Mittåkläppen. Here, technical mountain running awaits before the runners reach the ski stadium again, to set off on the Pilgrimsleden trail downstream of Ljusnan.

Welcome to the second edition of Sweden's most beautiful challenge – Lidingöloppet in Funäsfjällen 30K. The race is an outstanding challenge for runners who complete our dream course of an impressive 30 km in Bruksvallarna – with many meters of elevation to conquer.
