The Hillingdon Half Marathon is proving to be a popular event indeed. Boasting some quick times and terrain, it is perfect for those wishing to either run a PB or to sharpen up before London, or other sprint marathons.

The race will be organised by Active Training World under UKA rules and hosted at Brunel University, Uxbridge. Here you will be running with some top International talent a well as local runners too who use their World Class sporting facilities.

The borough of Hillingdon has a strong sporting tradition and has been part of past Olympic Marathon races and is deserving of a mass participation race.

Event T Shirt, medal and race momento to all finishers. Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female prizes of £150, £100 & £50 respectively. Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female trophies. Age group trophies for M40+, M50+, M60+, M70+, W40+, W50+, W60+, W70+ 1st Male team shield (4 to score) plus £20 per scoring team member 1st Female team shield (3 to score) plus £20 per scoring team member. Middlesex Championships Medals. Minimum age 17yrs on the day.


There will be ample parking provided in the campus, please car share where possible. There is a good public transport network with Uxbridge underground station the closest rail option. Bus routes U1, U3, U4, U7 and A10 all stop at the Uni.

Brunel University, Uxbridge, Middlesex



The route for the race is a residential setting that starts and finishes in the modern surroundings of Brunel University, Uxbridge, Middlesex. The race will incorporate 1 small lap and 2 larger laps on quiet roads and pavements. The section in Brunel Campus will be traffic free and will be a good spectator location.

The route will pass through parts of Uxbridge, Cowley, Yiewsley, Stockley and Hillingdon and is a partly modified version of the race route from back in 2003. The course is accurately measured and certified by the Association of Course Measurers.
