The Generali Tranquilidade Half-Marathon D’Ouro Run Gondomar is back!
Gondomar once again hosts the Generali Tranquilidade Half-Marathon D’Ouro Run, held along the municipality’s scenic riverside road between Valbom and Foz do Sousa–Esposade. The event is organized by Associação Comvidacorrer, with the support of the Municipality of Gondomar and technical management by Eventsport.
Building on the success of previous editions—widely praised by both athletes and walkers—the event continues to offer three distances: the 21.097 km Half Marathon, the 10 km Mini Marathon, and the 5 km Walk, all set against the stunning backdrop of the D’Ouro River.
The course features unique and breathtaking landscapes, a favorable microclimate for sporting activities, and a fast, flat route that is ideal for participants looking to improve their personal bests.
Aiming to be a key tourism reference in the region, the Entre-os-Rios riverside area provides excellent conditions for leisure and exploration, with a beautiful promenade, river beaches, and distinctive local gastronomy—making Gondomar a destination worth discovering beyond the race itself.
