A very interesting half marathon, but a bit chaotic. I was lucky with the weather, it has been colder for a few days, the temperature being lower by about 5°C through SE Asia, so we ran at a temperature of 18°C. For me it was at the border between pleasant and too warm, even if the locals I spoke to complained that it was too cold for them. The problems were mostly the same as in the other SE Asia competitions I participated in: the markings were misplaced for more than half of the race, and the slower runners from the shorter races finished at the same time as the faster ones from the half marathon, thus creating a sort of a jam on the last 2km. I was lucky, but those who finished in over 1h50m simply could not cross the finish line due to the congestion upon receiving the finisher medals. I didn't start from the front, but I didn't go to the back either. It still took me a while to overtake the slower runners who had to start from the first line, so the first km I had in almost 5m30s. My final time was 1:29:34, which I'm happy with. I could have been faster, but my goal was to finish just under 1:30, which I did. My experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2qZ82-2rLo

The route is always very nice, with amazing scenery. The race is always well organised, and the atmosphere is very nice. The route is always very nice, with amazing scenery. The race is always well organised, and the atmosphere is very nice.
The distance is nice and not too long.
