About Uniqa Asigurari Bucharest 10K Grand Prix 2020
Uniqa Asigurari Bucharest 10K Grand Prix is the newest of the Bucharest road running events.
It holds a competitive 10K Grand Prix race.
Although it holds a family race.This is the only event where kids, parents, grandparents, friends can run (or walk) together, in teams of up to 10 members. Also, the little ones with ages between 6 – 18 months have their own race – Babies’ Race. They would have to “run” 4.2195 meter and they would awarded with a registration for the marathon race to be held when they will be 18 years old In fact, this event has the role of educating people on the benefits of spending valuable time doing sports and having a healthy lifestyle.

Aid Stations
The First Aid points will be located along the route of the race and in the Start / Finish areas
Award Medals
Each runner will receive a unique medal if finish the race in 3h.
Equipment Storage
Deposit bags can be left off in the changing tent before start and picked up when the race is over, based on the bib number. Only bags with a sticker number matching the runner’s bib number will be accepted.
Maximum Time
90 minutes from the start for the 10K, and 60 minutes for the Family Run
Parking
The parking lot nearest to the Start/Finish is Piata Unirii, 1 km from the Start area, entry point behind Unirea Shopping Mall
Refreshments
According to IAAF/AIMS Rules, refreshment points will be set up every 5 Km, therefore at about 5 Km / Finish line.
Timing
The timing system for the Individual 10K and Relay races will be provided by a specialized company. The system registers the passing of each runner’s electronic chip over the electronic mats (check points) and calculates the time for each runner.
Transport
The nearest subway stations are Izvor (0.5 km from the Start area) and Unirii (1 km from the Start area).
